Chase, Lee, Storm and Michael stepped out of the desert, exhausted and tired, and drifted into a nearby forest. "Maybe we should stop for the night..." Chase said to the others, who immediately fell down onto the soft grass. "We should set up camp. Lee, go get some firewood," Lee stuck his head up and questioned Chase, "Why do I have to do it? Can we just get out our tents and sleep? I'm too exhausted to gather firewood." "Very well then." Answered Chase, "Storm, can you go down to that river

Chapter 8: Saron Desert
"...Chase, I still don't understand why we need to head through a desert..." Storm questioned Chase for the umpteenth time.
“Because if we don’t, who knows what will happen to the world if we don’t head through this desert." Chase answered, scooping up some rocks and, using his Earth powers, crushed the rocks into sand.
"I've never been in a desert before..." Lee said sadistically, "Heck, I haven't even left Tryveck in years."
"Well, Lee, no turning back now." Chase piped up

The quartet stopped at an inn in at the town at the foot of the deadly Saron Desert, where they would set out on their expedition tomorrow. At the inn, Chase and Lee told their stories of how they ended up in this quest (Storm and Michael need not to tell).
“My story is a tragic story,” Chase started, “My homeland is of the heart of the legendary Twilight Kingdom. My home? The heart of the Twilight Kingdom, Twilitia. And from what I know, White is also a Twilitian.” Chase finished off to catch his breath.
